Submission Guide Lines and Peer Review Process

Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can log in and begin the five-step process. We recommend authors to review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies Prior to manuscript submission.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscript Assessment After Submission

All the manuscripts submitted to USci are pre-screened by the editorial board for suitability and novelty. Next, the selected manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two different reviewers to ensure a high standard and the decision to publish the paper will be based on the reviewers' comments/recommendations.

Rejection Criteria

All papers submitted to USci undergo a pre-review evaluation, which determines whether they are sent for external review. The assessment of the manuscripts considers several elements, including novelty, scientific rigour, scientific advancement of a particular field, and overall interest to the readership.

These are the most common reasons for rejection before or after review. Authors are advised to check their papers thoroughly before submission to ensure it does not fall under the following categories:

1) Papers that lack novelty

2) Papers with limited sampling, poor experimental design, or other methodological flaws or limitations that raise concerns about the validity or reliability of the findings.

3) Papers describing fragmentary results

4) Papers that may raise ethical concerns related to research conduct, authorship, plagiarism, or conflicts of interest.

5) Papers discovered to be generated by AI

6) Papers with poor writing quality, including issues with clarity, organization, grammar, and style, making the manuscript difficult to understand or unprofessional in appearance
